• Main Armament: 100mm D-10T rifled gun.
• Designed to replace the T-44, the T-54/T-55 series went on to become the most produced tank in history and remains in service today. The legendary T-54 was mass produced (and therefore relatively cheap), and was a good, well balanced tank which was sturdy, dependable and easy to operate. This is a M-1949 model which had an internal mantle and reduced turret undercut, but was soon replaced by the T-54A.
• On display in what is best known as Hall 2 of the Kubinka Tank Museum, although its official title is now Pavilion 2 in Area 2 of the Park Patriot museum.
