GIGANTICKÁ Fotografie + English: Albania-02608 - Peace Bell (Taken on June 11, 2013, Sony NEX-7) The Peace Bell hangs just a few metres from the entrance of the Enver Hoxha Pyramid. It represents a huge memorial to peace made of the melted metal from 20,000 bullet cartridges, gathered by children in Shkodra in 1997, when the country was threatened by a civil war.

In the area around the university buildings, pyramid and bell memorial there was Graffiti on everything. Even the bell has been damaged by the people, look at the edges that have pieces missing. They fought to leave Communism and then they destroy what they have, I just cannot understand why people feel graffiti does anything to improve what they have.........and that includes where I live. I HATE ALL GRAFFITI..............FREEDOM DOES NOT MEAN YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO DESTROY OR DEFACE........ Sorry for the rant but it makes me sick.
